Orthodontics for children
Early intervention is important: Early testing and diagnosis are essential for children. In young patients, the joints and bone structure are very flexible and adaptable. The possibility of improvement is greater than in adults.
The narrow palate (reduction of the diameter of the upper dental arch) and the inconsistent position of the teeth are the most common problems in children. We intervene by giving more space to the permanent teeth and centralizing the upper jaw bone without blocking the natural mobility of the muscles and joints.
For children, we prefer less invasive and comfortable solutions that do not require the active cooperation of the patient. We follow children as they grow, from baby teeth to permanent teeth, and work with osteopaths to help us understand what is best for their overall posture.
